A few words about Le Touquet
Many popular designations have been given to Tourquet-Paris-Plage ever since its birth in the 19th century - "playground of kings", "mini Monte Carlo", etc. The station that grew up into a fascinating resort-village, was discovered by an Englishman, who was enchanted by the potential of the place and decided to have his villa here. Tourquet is located at the Channel, in the department of Pas-de-Calais. It has sandy dunes dotted with pine trees to fortify them - a landscape that charmed the first to discover the resort.
